Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte resigns :

Majoring in IT, Indian On Saturday, Wipro announced that Thierry Delaporte would be leaving his position as CEO and appointing Srinivas Pallia to take over as CEO, starting immediately.
The news is made just a few days before the Bengaluru-based company’s April 19 presentation of its Q4 and full-year 2023–2024 profits. Wipro has been performing worse than its competitors, as evidenced by a dull report card and vague expectations. Last year, the company lost several key executives, including chief growth officer Stephanie Trautman and CFO Jatin Dalal.

According to a Wipro statement, Pallia has guided the company through some of the biggest technological changes it has ever experienced and brings a wealth of institutional and industry knowledge to the CEO position.

The Board of Directors approved Srinivas Pallia’s appointment as the Nomination and Remuneration Committee’s recommendation at their meeting on April 6, 2024.
